Our first Timber Festival in Mulhurst Bay was a huge success, and Little Timber was right at the heart of it. Thank you to every friend, family and young explorer who came out to read, walk, discover and spend time together in Timber Forest.
Families came together to read, explore and discover Little Timber in the real forest. The experience became one of the most memorable family features of our first Timber Festival.

At Timber Festival, children had the chance to experience Little Timber beyond the page. Young explorers walked through Timber Forest, searched for characters from the first book and discovered how much fun reading, imagination and the outdoors can have together.
For Timber Festival 2027, we are expanding the forest experience with more Little Timber characters, new discoveries along the trail and even more reasons for families to explore together. Plans include expanded character hunts and new forest challenges, with scavenger-hunt and orienteering-style experiences being developed for older explorers and adults too.
For future Little Timber / Timber Forest events, parents and guardians can use this check-in for children participating in designated play and exploration areas.
Little Timber is growing from the first book into a year-round family world of seasonal activity books, original music, Timber Festival experiences and future stories from the Timber Family.
